We can test for the active agrichemical compound, help you with trials of new agrichemicals, or provide analysis and reports for the chemical impurities that are required for registration of your agrichemical with the Australian Pesticides and Veterinary Medicines Authority (APVMA).
Our Expertise
Advanced Analytical's scientists collectively have many decades of expertise in analysing agricultural chemicals and are familiar with APVMA's requirements, and can provide results and method details in a format suitable for the APVMA. Dr Ian Eckhard, Advanced Analytical's Technical Director, alone has analysed many hundreds of samples of herbicides, pesticides, fungicides and synthetic pyrethroids.
This collective expertise will be brought to the analyses of your samples when testing for either the active ingredient and/or determining the prescribed and non-prescribed impurities (over 0.1%).
Our Techniques include:
• ESI and APCI LC/MS/MS for low level detection of non-volatiles,
• High Performance Large Volume Injection GC/MS for low level detection of semi-volatiles,
• Purge & Trap GC/MS for low level detection of volatiles, and
• ICP-OES for trace element analysis.
